Medbase relies on Bontique for organizing apprenticeship graduation gifts

For the appreciation of young talents and the organization of apprenticeship graduation gifts, Medbase relies on Bontique. For over 20 years, Medbase has been moving the healthcare industry and promoting healthcare in Switzerland. Around 4,000 healthcare professionals from various disciplines work together in a coordinated and interprofessional manner, providing comprehensive care to patients, ranging from prevention and acute medicine to rehabilitation. Medbase also contributes to the healthcare workforce by training young women and men in various professional fields.

Company History

Medbase has been shaped by a history of strong growth since its establishment in the early 2000s. What started as a physiotherapy practice in Winterthur in 2001, founded by two young male physiotherapists and a female physiotherapist, has now become one of the leading providers in Switzerland’s ambulatory healthcare sector. Marcel Napierala, CEO of the Medbase Group, had an early vision to break the silo thinking of the industry and unite medicine and therapy in one place. This mindset became the foundation of the company, where today doctors, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals work hand in hand.

One Team – One Spirit

At Medbase, teamwork is not only a focus for the employed specialists but also in fostering young talents. The company offers them the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in four different professions. The positive experiences of the apprentices confirm the high quality of the training: they report dedicated support that enables them to directly apply learned theories into practice. The modern practices and pharmacies with good facilities and infrastructure further support the learning environment. Another incentive for the young talents is the variety of appreciation measures, including the popular Medbase Festival. Thanks to these benefits, Medbase is perceived as an especially attractive employer for motivated young professionals, and the training at Medbase provides a solid foundation for a promising career.

Small Effort – Great Selection

Since 2019, apprentices at Medbase receive a Bontique-Check as a graduation gift. This year, 54 young talents will also receive a Bontique-Check, allowing them to explore the shopping diversity in Switzerland. Dennis Stutz, HR Assistant and Vocational Training Manager at Medbase, appreciates the implementation through Bontique: “The platform is very intuitive and user-friendly. The implementation is straightforward, and with the wide range of partners, we can be sure that there is something for each of our apprentices.”
